The High Cost of Water Leaks

Our annual water bill is a large part of the total Body Corporate budget and costs are not on-charged to individual units.

This means that we all pay for water when it is used excessively, or leaks.

The current average cost of water across all 201 units is $50 per unit per month. Recently there was a leak that cost $193 per unit one month in a building of 8 units.

We urge you to attend to any leaking taps or toilets in your home, or to notify the Property Manager if you see any wet patches on the lawn or hear water running when your taps are closed.
